Henry Shin

Kadima Conservatory Philharmonic Conductor

Henry Shin is an accomplished conductor and educator dedicated to inspiring the next generation of musicians through exceptional orchestral training and mentorship. He serves as Director of Orchestras at Pasadena City College and has held leadership positions with numerous youth and community orchestras throughout California.

Internationally recognized as a prizewinner at the prestigious International Competition for Young Conductors in Besançon, France, Henry has studied with many of the world’s leading conductors and collaborated with renowned artists including Kurt Masur, Marin Alsop, and James Conlon.

He holds degrees from UC Berkeley and the USC Thornton School of Music and has pursued doctoral studies at UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music.
